Congratulations on the arrival of your little one!
When you hire a newborn photographer I know it is not only important that you have beautiful photographs of your little one but also that it is done by someone who is experienced and knowledgeable about how to safely and comfortably pose new babies. I have over 12 years of full-time experience and my focus is safety and your baby’s comfort is always my priority. I have taken workshops and courses with over a dozen newborn professionals, including two internationally recognized experts in safe posing and newborn physiology. Each year I photograph over 80 newborn sessions in my studio.
Newborn sessions are best for babies one to six week old and take place on weekdays in my studio. In order to accommodate babies whether they arrive early or late, sessions are pre-booked during your pregnancy to reserve a space in my schedule.
Your session will be styled based on your preferences for poses, colours, and props. Sessions can be simple poses against timeless organic backdrops and textures or involve the use of bright colours, props, and more elaborate sets: the choice is yours!
All planning for sessions is done before you arrive at the studio: I will have everything set up for your session to ensure that every moment we are together is spent taking photos.
